This website is an experiment. I’ve grown pretty bored with your average, every day “band” website. Most of them have some fancy whistles and bells, and look really great, but then after you recover from your anime-induced-like seizure, you get the same information you’ll find on every other site on the net- a bio, tour dates, and that’s about it.

I’d like to do something slightly different. It was an idea that I had after Rodney Hayden and I kicked off our New American Voices Tour. The guys that helped us put it all together built us a pretty incredible website– it allowed people to chime in via twitter with thoughts, and it allowed me to post pictures directly to the website while I was out on the road. I loved the idea. It was interactive, and it was cool. It allowed for the content of the site to evolve on a regular basis. That’s what I’m going to try and do here.

I’ll be stopping by to blog… which are often times not about music.

You’ll be able to see my twitter posts… which are often times not about music.

You’ll be able to see my pictures from the road… which, as you have already guessed, are often times not about music.

But, you’ll also be able to stay up to day with all of my music stuff, too, including information about the release of my new record, An Audio Guide To Cross Country Travel.

Wait until you hear this thing. I’m pretty excited about it.

So, let the games begin.
